What is DNS-over-HTTPS
Traditional DNS sends your queries in plain text over UDP. Anyone on the network path can see which domains you look up. DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) wraps those same queries inside an encrypted HTTPS connection to a resolver you choose. The three providers above all support DoH, but they run different infrastructure in different locations. Your results depend on how close you are to each provider's nearest edge server, how fast their backend resolves the name, and whether they already have the answer cached.
